Educational support to reduce the technological gap
Avoid student desertion of a population of low economic resources with high vulnerability and risk due to lack of access to virtual education by providing them with the technological elements that allow the continuity of their professional training under the new normal of education.
We start from a study carried out by the ‘Universidad del Valle’ to measure the impact of the technological gap on student dropout, finding that 72% of students are extremely poor and have a high risk of dropout due to lack of internet access.
Together with the University of the Valley, we have found that providing students with a tablet with internet connectivity through a sim card helps to solve the aforementioned technological gap and the problem of dropout.
The beneficiaries will be students with low economic resources and high vulnerability and risk.
With this project we will meet the needs of 150 students.
